Eye Problems

It should be fairly obvious if your dog is experiencing an issue with her eyes. Common symptoms of dog eye problems include:

• Avoiding light
• Bulging eyes
• Closed eyes
• Cloudiness
• Discharge
• Excess tearing
• Redness
• Rubbing the eye
• Rubbing the face on the ground

Remedies:

A Clean Sweep

A gentle wipe with a damp cotton ball will help to keep your pooch’s eyes gunk-free. Wipe outward from the corner of the eye and be careful not to touch his eyeball-you don’t want to scratch the cornea.
